Dr. Henry McCann is a licensed practitioner of East Asian Medicine with a private practice in New Jersey (USA). He was a former Fulbright fellow to the University of the Ryukyus (Japan) who then went to complete training first at the New England School of Acupuncture, and later at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine where he completed his doctoral degree with a special focus on Women’s Health and Geriatric Medicine. He has taught throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia, and is the author of Pricking the Vessels: Bloodletting in Chinese Medicine, and the co-author of A Practical Atlas of Tung’s Acupuncture.
