We want to certify the 22nd TAO Congress according to the Ecolabel guideline for Green Meetings and Green Events. To achieve this, we are taking many visible and invisible measures. We will be pleased if you support these efforts.
The aim is to organize the event according to the criteria of the Austrian Eco-Label for Green Meetings/Events.

Information for participants

• Please decide, if possible, for an environmentally friendly journey by public transport or form car pools.
• If possible, please choose an environmentally certified hotel (Austrian Eco-label, European Ecolabel, EMAS, etc.).
• Take advantage of the environmentally friendly services offered by your hotel (change towels and sheets only when necessary, etc.). Turn off all lights, electronic devices (TV, air conditioning, heating, computer, etc.) when leaving the hotel room temporarily.
• Reusable is environmental protection: prefer openly served drinks, food on dishes, milk and sugar without portion packaging, etc.
• Bring your own water bottles if you wish - there is a water fountain for filling
• Dispose of your waste (PET, glass, paper, metal, batteries, etc.) through the separate collection provided at the event.
• Use your own writing utensils or hand in your badgets / name tags at the information desk at the end of the event.
• The Steiermarkhof attaches particular importance to the quality and origin of the food used. Coordinated with the seasonal availability, regional products from local suppliers are in the first place - in the culinary offer you can taste the Styrian touch.
