Calls for Posters Submissions has been extended!!!!! 

Submission Deadline: June 21st, 2024

Abstracts for poster presentations that represent the broad spectrum of Traditional Chinese Medicine (basic, clinical, health care utilization, cost-effectiveness, program and best practice guideline development) and clinical care are welcome. We also explicitly ask for submissions of exceptional case reports and studies.

The submission period is February 1st to June 21st, 2024. The proposals must be relevant to Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, Nutrition, Tui na, Qi gong/Tai chi, or Auriculomedicine.

Poster Presentations will take place on sept. 27th 2024 at 08.15am, in front of an audience and a jury. The poster presentations will be held in English language. The Jury will finally decide, accoring to poster and presentation, who wins the € 500,- TAO Poster Award.

The OGKA has the right to review and select abstracts and posters at its discretion for presentation at the 21st international TAO congress, 2024.

General requirements of the Abstract include:

• Full title (max. 50 words)
• Abstracts should be structured (Purpose/Background, Methods/Concept, Results/Description, Conclusions/Significance)
• Word limit: max. 300 words
• The presenting author must also register to the 21st international TAO congress on acceptance

General requirements of the Poster include:

• Format: portrait
• Size: max. A0 (1189x841mm)
• Structure: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion
• Use standard fonts (e.g. Arial, Times New Roman)
• Posters should be presented in hard copy on-site (provided by the authors)
• Additionally, a PDF version of the poster should be provided on acceptance (office@ogka.at)
