Studied in Vienna, then trained as an internist at a maximum care hospital in Munich, specializing in diabetology, angiology, cardiology and in the acute units of integrative emergency care and intensive care. Graduated as a specialist in internal medicine (internist). Training in Chinese medicine/TCM and acupuncture in Munich with study visits to China during his studies. Graduated as a Certified Physician of Chinese Medicine (CPC). Continued regular further training as part of the Master's program (Master of Science in TCM) at the Technical University of Munich and attendance at international courses. His focus is on the combination of modern conventional medical diagnostics and Chinese medicine/acupuncture in therapy, particularly in the field of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. He is particularly interested in the early detection and treatment (primary prevention) of diseases.
