As a specialist in general medicine, acupuncture, naturopathy, emergency medicine, psychocardiological basic care, sports medicine, and a certified forest health coach, he integrates a remarkable range of medical disciplines into his practice. Since 2007, he has served as a lecturer at the Private University Witten/Herdecke, where he teaches courses in Yamamoto New Cranial Acupuncture (YNSA), acupuncture in emergency services, and acupuncture in dentistry.

After completing his medical studies at RWTH Aachen, he underwent extensive acupuncture training in China and Japan under Dr. Yamamoto. Since 2003, he has been authorized to provide further training in YNSA and has been working as an emergency physician since 1996.
