Dr. med. sci. Mag. rer nat. Barbara SCHINAGL

Between 2013 and 2019, Barbara Schinagl completed her doctoral studies (Dr. med. sci.) at the Medical University of Graz (MUG) and obtained a Clinical Trial Specialist qualification there in 2019. Previously, she earned a Master’s degree in Molecular Microbiology (2004–2009) and a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences (2001–2004), both at the University of Graz.

Since November 2023, she has been overseeing clinical studies in the medical-scientific department of the Institute AllergoSan. From 2015 to 2023, she worked as a Research Specialist focusing on the oral microbiome. Prior to that, she served as a Project Assistant and doctoral candidate (2011–2012) in the “Human Technology Interface” project (“Interface Mundraum”) at the University of Graz and the Medical University of Graz. Between 2010 and 2013, she was involved in a Hygienefonds project investigating oral biofilms on orthodontic appliances. From 2009 to 2015, she also worked as a Technical Assistant at the Institute of Botany at the University of Graz on multiple FWF-funded lichen research projects.

In addition, Barbara Schinagl is a certified Resilience Trainer, Kinesiologist, and Equine/Nature-Based Resilience Trainer (EREL), as well as a certified Learning and Dyslexia/Dyscalculia Trainer (EREL).
