She studied medicine at the University of Witten/Herdecke. Since 1987, she has pursued continuous training in Chinese Medicine, including studies with Jeremy Ross (Western herbal medicine within Chinese Medicine), Yuning Wu (TCM in gynecology), Annemarie Schweizer-Arau (Sinosomatics), Wang Ju-Yi (Applied Channel Theory), and Diana Richardson (femininity and sexuality), among other renowned teachers.

From 2013 to 2016, she completed a period of study in Beijing. Since 2009, she has been active internationally as a lecturer and speaker on Western herbal medicine in Chinese Medicine, teaching in Austria, Germany, Portugal, Poland, and Switzerland.

She has been running her own private practice in Vienna since 2005.
